Floor Ducts In Screed

Pendock floor ducting is a two part system comprising a pre formed tray produced from 22 gauge hot dipped galvanised mild steel to bs 2989.

This decoupling avoids cracks in the neighbouring floor covering and screed. In addition to the standard sizes shown below we can also make any special size without minimum quantities. The duct incorporates an integral quick assembly coupler and intermediate fixing clamps to ensure an efficient site installation. The underfloor sockets in the three basic heights cover a large height adjustment range of between 70 and 220 mm screed height.

Standard specifications sizes all floor ducting profiles are 2500mm long. The plywood coverboard fits flush with the floor screed and can be simply removed to allow for rapid and effective access to pipes. We can make new lids and service boxes to suit your existing trunking. In addition the underfloor sockets of the duct system are decouplable so that they float in the screed.

Manufactured to the highest specification our trunking systems are created to nut and bolt together saving on installation time and cost. Cableduct supplies a range of trunking and service box solutions for flush screed and in screed underfloor applications a service box can be fitted in any screed floor with a minimum of at least 55mm screed depth.
